Pemerintah provinsi Sulawesi Tengah melalui dinas Pekerjaan umum bina marga dan penataan ruang (PU-BMPR) telah memulihkan arus lalu lintas yang sempat terputus akibat longsor di ruas Salua – Sadaunta, kabupaten Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah.
Terdapat beberapa titik longsoran besar dan sejumlah longsoran kecil yang mengakibatkan terputusnya arus lalu lintas pada ruas Palu – Kulawi yakni didesa Salua – Sadaunta. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan antrean kendaraan yang baik dari arah Kulawi maupun dari arah Palu.
Sebagian besar longsoran besar terjadi pada lereng bukit akibat curah hujan yang terjadi akhir pekan Kemarin. Longsoran besar menutup badan jalan sehingga arus lalu lintas terputus yakni pada titik puncak gunung potong yang dikenal sebagian masyarakat disana.

Penanganan tanggap darurat langsung dilakukan pada hari yang sama dimulai pagi hingga siang hari. Pembersihan diutamakan pada lokasi longsoran besar.
Kepala dinas PU-BMPR provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, Syaifullah Djafar, melalui Kabid Jalan dan Jembatan, Asbudyanto, mengatakan target utama penanganan darurat adalah jalan bisa fungsional. Alat berat diarahkan untuk membersihkan longsoran sehingga membuka arus lalu lintas minimal 1 lajur agar kendaraan yang sudah mengantri dapat melintas namun masih bergantian pada beberapa titik.

“2 unit exavator saat ini sedang mencoba membuka akses jalan ruas salua – sadaunta yangg bekerja sejak kemarin” kata Asbudyanto, yang dihubungi Senin 9 Desember 2019.
Ruas jalan Salua – Sadaunta merupakan bagian dari koridor ekonomi yang menghubungkan antara beberapa wilayah Kecamatan yang ada dikabupaten Sigi menuju kota Palu, ibu kota provinsi Sulawesi tengah. Ruas ini merupakan satu–satunya akses jalan provinsi yang menghubungkan Lintas Selatan dengan Lintas Utara di Provinsi Sulteng.
Permasalahan yang terjadi pada titik yang berada disepanjang Salua – Sadaunta ini adalah stabilitas lereng akibat formasi batuan penyusun di sepanjang ruas sebagian besar sudah terkekarkan serta merupakan batuan lapuk yang menyebabkan seringnya terjadi longsor dari sisi tebing yang mengakibatkan tertutupnya badan jalan oleh material longsor.
“Saya sudah dijalan menuju lokasi. Staf dilapangan masih mendata sampai saat ini” jelas Asbudianto.
Bencana longsor untuk ruas jalan Salua – Sadaunta, bukan kali pertama terjadi. Pada bulan September lalu, ruas ini beberapa kali terputus total sehingga menghambat proses evakuasi korban dan pendistribusian logistik bagi pengungsi korban gempa di empat kecamatan yaitu Lindu, Kulawi, Kulawi Selatan dan Pipikoro, ketika itu.
Karena badan jalan terputus total, distribusi logistik bagi pengungsi dilakukan menggunakan helikopter milik TNI, Polri dan swasta.
Untuk itu mendukung kelancaran arus Natal dan tahun baru 2019 mendatang, Pemprov Sulteng dan Pemkab Sigi berencana akan menyiagakan posko natal di ruas jalan tersebut. Posko tersebut akan dilengkapi alat berat berupa excavator, bulldozer.
