Tersangka Ew ini diketahui baru tiga bulan bebas dari Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) setelah menjalani masa hukumnya selama enam tahun dengan kasus yang sama.
Kini tersangka yang juga warga jalan Jendral Sudirman KM 6, kelurahan Sijambi, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar, Kota Tanjung Balai itu, kembali berurusan dengan pihak kepolisian setelah sebelumnya diringkus oleh Tim Opsnal Satres Narkoba Polres Tanjungbalai karena terlibat dalam peredaran Narkoba.
Kapolres Tanjungbalai AKBP Irfan Rifai, membenarkan peristiwa penangkapan resedivis kasus narkoba tersebut. Kejadian bermula itu dari Informasi yang disampaikan masyarakat atas peredaran di daerah tersebut semakin marak.
“Tersangka tidak berkutik saat dihampiri petugas, dan hanya bisa pasrah saat dilakukan penggeledahan badan dan dari kantong celana sebelah kanan ditemukan 1 buah kotak kecil yang didalamnya berisi 3 bungkus plastik berisi sabu” kata AKBP Irfan Rifai, yang dikonfirmasi Selasa 16 Juli 2019, sembari menambahkan selain itu petugas kembali menggeledah tersangka dan kembali berhasil menemukan bungkusan plastik ukuran sedang yang berisikan sabu.
Dalam aksi penangkapan tersangka resedivis itu, kata Irfan Rifai, selain mengamankan sabu, petugas juga berhasil menyita barang milik tersangka Ew berupa 2 unit Handphone, 1 buah sendok, pipet plastik warna putih dan uang tunai Rp. 500.000.
“Total sabu yang kita amankan adalah seberat 16,20 gram. Dan pengakuannya sabu tersebut diperolehnya dari seorang rekannya berinisial RZ warga Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang” ungkap perwira berpangkat dua melati itu.
Saat ini tersangka Ew beserta barang bukti narkoba sudah diamankan di Polres Tanjungbalai untuk proses lebih lanjut untuk dilakukan pengembangan tersangka lain.
