Deforestasi atau penghilangan hutan di kawasan Taman Nasional Lore Lindu, Kabupaten Poso, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, mencapai 7,923 hektar are. Saat ini mencapai titik tertinggi hampir satu dekade terakhir.
Merujuk kajian beberapa organisasi peduli lingkungan di Kota Palu, penyebab utama deforestasi itu adalah penebangan liar dan penyerobotan lahan hutan secara ilegal.
Meskipun taman nasional Lore Lindu yang telah ditetapkan pihak UNESCO sebagai cagar biosfer di sidang dewan internasional (Internasional Coordinating Council/ ICC) program manusia dan Biosfer (Man And Biosphere Programs) ke 31 di kota Place Fontenoy, Perancis yang berlangsug pada tanggal 17-21 Juni 2019 itu.
Namun hal ini mendapat respon positif bagi Kelompok Muda Peduli Hutan (KOMIU) yang berdomisili di Kota Palu. Hal ini tentunya mendapat apresiasi tersendiri pada penetapan UNESCO Taman Nasional Lore Lindu Poso sebagai Cagat Biosfer.
Namun pihaknya juga berharap dengan penetapan itu agar perlu juga perhatian melihat deforestasi di kawasan Taman Nasional Lore Lindu (TNLL) dalam hitungan waktu 2010 sampai dengan tahun 2018 mencapai 7.923 Ha.
Kepala Divisi Advokasi & Kampanye KOMIU Aldi Ryzki, mengemukakan deforestasi ini salah satu pemicu adanya pembukaan lahan oleh masyarakat, dikarenakan selama bertahun-tahun masyarakat dan pihak Balai Taman Nasional Lore Lindu (BTNLL), dibanyak desa belum menemukan kata sepakat dalam pengelolaan kawasan hutan khususnya pemberdayaan ekonomi yang real dan jangka panjang serta tahan lama.
Dia menambahkan, angka deforestasi itu sebenarnya termasuk besar ketimbang dengan kawasan hutan yang bukan kawasan konservasi.
“Dari penelusuran yang kami lakukan selama 18 tahun itu juga terjadi penurunan status kawasan di TNLL mencapai 3.536 Ha yang diperkirakan kedepan akan semakin bertambah.
Selain berpengaruh pada kawasan deforestasi juga mempengaruhi keberadaan satwa endemik yang ada di Taman Nasional Lore Lindu sendiri, apalagi pasca bencana gempa bumi 28/08/18 lalu, terdapat beberapa tempat penangkaran maleo rusak” kata Fadli Ryzki, yang dikonfirmasi Koran Trilogi, Rabu (19/6/2019).
Menurutnya, pihaknya telah mengusulkan agar balai TNLL dapat menghidupkan kembali kesepakatan konservasi masyarakat (KKM) yang pernah dibangun tahun 1999 lalu. Metode itu, tambah Fadli Rizky, dapat digunakan untuk melibatkan masyarakat dalam berpartisipasi menjaga kawasan hutan dan juga mendapatkan manfaat langsung secara ekonomi.
Sementara itu Akademisi Dr Misran Lawani MSi yang juga dikonfirmasi mengatakan, penetapan Taman Nasional Lore Lindu oleh UNESCO sebagai Cagar Biosfer dalam pertemuan dihadiri Gubernur Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, Longky Djanggola, beserta Bupati Poso Darmin Sigilipu dan bupati Kabupaten Sigi, Moh Irwan Lapatta, di Perancis baru-baru ini patut disyukuri oleh masyarakat Sulawesi Tengah, khususnya Kabupaten Poso atas pengakuan dunia ini.
Ahli Agriculture asal Kabupaten Poso ini menjelaskan penetapan TNLL oleh UNESCO ini perlu ditindak lanjuti oleh Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Poso dengan program-program nyata yang nantinya akan menunjang fungsi TNLL sebagai cagar biosfer.
“Karena cagar biosfer dapat menjadi ekowisata dengan ditopang tiga unsur utama, yaitu infrastruktur yang terbangun baik, keramahan masyarakat, dan sarana untuk tinggal yang baik. Ekowisata ini bisa terwujud dengan dukungan dari pemerintah pusat, daerah, dan komunitas lokal yang saling bersinergi dengan baik” kata Misran Lawani, kepada Koran Trilogi.
